The White Stripes

Maybe the title has deceived you....
I don't want to talk about the great band: The white stripes, but about one of the most chic trand of the season: the stripes.
As you have noticed from fashion magazines, TV shows, catwalks, that they are: vertical, horizontal, oblique, big, small, colorful, stripes are everywhere (also in this blog :P) !!!!!!

The winter season began with an invasion of vertical lines, from trousers to jackets, to skirts and sweaters this spring there seemed to be an invasion of football referees and committed to Foot Locker.

Honestly, I never liked too the total look rows  ....
It's better to make an outfit broken: for example a single color top with striped pants, or a striped shirt over jeans or long skirts ....

If you really want to wear those, with thick and vertical lines, you would be better you are slender. The leg turned with this garment will become even more squat.
For those who like me, have not skinny legs, I highly recommend pants with thin vertical lines; they help to slim the figure and give air bon ton ... they are Fab in white and blue stripes, with a polo shirt and loafers,
or striped shirt, white shorts and straw hat, ideal for an afternoon boat.

Many fashion designers have made the lines, their symbol.
From the italian Missoni, to the french Jean Paul Gaultier that has made it a distinctive symbol, to the elegant Oscar De La Renta, to the colorful and eclectic Sonia Rykiel and Paul Smith.

A pattern so modern and classic never goes out of fashion, the two-tone, those rainbow, but the important thing is not to overdo it too much because otherwise you risk looking like a prisoner.
So...say yeah to lines... but in line with good taste!
