Chromotherapy

Today, the sky is gray on Turin ... thunder and lightning accompanied the passing of the morning ... as the time and also my mood today is not the best ...

If you can't change the time, you can try to change your mood...

First of all there is no better thing to write a long email to your best friend ... and because despite being on the other side of the world, to be exact in Costa Rica, she is always by my side ....
After the outburst, it's better to listen a bit 'of great music ... and it's not really good at least cover your thoughts (Carry Bradshaw teaches: P)

But now I have to get ready because soon I gotta go to work ....
So given that the smile is a must, I ask for help also to my beloved clothes.

So....What to wear when you are sad?!?

In color therapy, each color is associated with particular psychic and spiritual characteristics of individuals.

RED: Red has both positive and negative values. On the one hand red is the color of love, the other is the color of fire, and therefore may represent the fire, heat, energy and light. This color is associated with strength, health and vitality and represents fire, the joy, celebration, sexual arousal, blood and violent passions.
ORANGE: The orange was a liberating action according to color therapy on physical and mental functions, and a large effect of integration and distribution, inducing serenity, enthusiasm, happiness, love of life, optimism, positive feelings, physical and mental synergy .
YELLOW: The yellow is associated with the left brain and generally the intellectual side, with the effects of stimulation and help in the study. It is considered a protective color and concrete, to the aid of those who are too open or too creative, associated with happiness, wisdom and imagination, generating a good mood, whether you wear clothing that color is like painting the walls.
GREEN: The green, basic color of nature, is the color of harmony: it symbolizes hope, balance, peace and renewal. It is a neutral color, relaxing, encourages reflection, calm, concentration.
BLUE: Blue is a calming and refreshing color. For field theories, it is a color that calms and moderates, and that makes you forget the problems of everyday life.
TURQUOISE: Turquoise combines both the beneficial effects of blue and green. It vitalizes all systems. It is also purifying.
PURPLE: Purple is a mixture of two colors, violet containing more Red will be warmer, brighter and more intense. It will tend to create color meanings more closely associated with Red. And of course the meanings of violet containing more Blue will naturally have more of the cool, calming color symbolism of Blue.
BLACK: Black is a protective color. It is grounding and calming, especially to extremely sensitive individuals. Black is most effective when used in conjunction with white, balancing the polarities of the individual, especially in cases where the individual seems to be losing control. Black should be used sparingly, as too much black can cause depression or aggravate such emotional/mental conditions. Black also increases fear, suspicion and paranoia.
BROWN: Brown is an earthy color. It grounds, stabilizes and neutralizes. It is an effective color in healing.
Brown is especially effective in stabilizing overexcited states. It calms and grounds emotions and extreme mental conditions. Brown can help awaken common sense and discrimination. It brings us back down to earth. Brown is effective for any kind of spaciness.
GOLD: Gold is a color that can strengthen the energies associated with the entire immune system. It can be used with other colors to amplify the effects without overexciting the system. Gold is a powerful stimulant to the immune system of the body. It helps awaken the individual's own healing abilities to assist the body in restoring homeostasis. It can also awaken renewed enthusiasm. Gold is also believed to improve libido, especially in women. Gold also harmonizes the mind and affect the endocrine systems.
PINK: Pink is a soothing color on all levels, physical mental and emotional levels. It can be used to soothe conditions of anger and feelings of neglect. Pink can be used to awaken compassion, love, and purity. It can be used in meditation to discern greater truths. It is comforting to the emotional energies of the individual.
WHITE: White (full color spectrum white color) contains the entire light spectrum.
White is strengthening. It is cleansing and purifying to the entire energy system. It promotes purity, virtue and spirituality.
White is nurturing; heals fevers, infections and pain; calms the heart, mind, nerves and emotions; and promotes vitality and supportive feelings.
White can awaken greater creativity. When in doubt as to what color to use, you can seldom go wrong with white.
If used in excess, white light causes passivity, lethargy, hypersensitivity, and inhibitions.
In the end I decided to wear a pink balloon skirt, a black tank top, a denim shirt, black boots.

I must say that my mood tonight is better ... thanks to clothes but especially to my job that I love more every day and my friends who always make me laught too much ....

And you, what's your color today?

Kiss kiss

The White Stripes

Maybe the title has deceived you....
I don't want to talk about the great band: The white stripes, but about one of the most chic trand of the season: the stripes.
As you have noticed from fashion magazines, TV shows, catwalks, that they are: vertical, horizontal, oblique, big, small, colorful, stripes are everywhere (also in this blog :P) !!!!!!

The winter season began with an invasion of vertical lines, from trousers to jackets, to skirts and sweaters this spring there seemed to be an invasion of football referees and committed to Foot Locker.
Zara
Honestly, I never liked too the total look rows  ....
It's better to make an outfit broken: for example a single color top with striped pants, or a striped shirt over jeans or long skirts ....

Tiramisù alle fragole
If you really want to wear those, with thick and vertical lines, you would be better you are slender. The leg turned with this garment will become even more squat.
For those who like me, have not skinny legs, I highly recommend pants with thin vertical lines; they help to slim the figure and give air bon ton ... they are Fab in white and blue stripes, with a polo shirt and loafers,
or striped shirt, white shorts and straw hat, ideal for an afternoon boat.
H&M
Many fashion designers have made the lines, their symbol.
From the italian Missoni, to the french Jean Paul Gaultier that has made it a distinctive symbol, to the elegant Oscar De La Renta, to the colorful and eclectic Sonia Rykiel and Paul Smith.

A pattern so modern and classic never goes out of fashion, the two-tone, those rainbow, but the important thing is not to overdo it too much because otherwise you risk looking like a prisoner.
So...say yeah to lines... but in line with good taste!

L'amour fou par Yves Saint Laurent pour la mode

Five years after his death, the myth of Yves Saint Laurent is honored with a documentary film: "L'amour Fou" by Pierre Thoretton, in which to tell of the growth of the myth is just the constant companion of the great designer: Pierre Bergé.

"Nothing is most beautiful than a nacked body. The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman are the arms of the man she loves. But for those who haven't had the fortune of finding happiness, I'm there." YSL
The first steps that the great Yves made in fashion, were next to the master Christian Dior, whose death he took his place in the maison.
It was January 30, 1958 and the New York Herald Tribune wrote about his first collection:
"No one has ever done so many tears shed as Yves Saint Lauren,
this was the most exciting fashion party of all time".
He was only 21.
But only in 1962, when fired from the owner of Dior: Marcel Boussac, along with Bergé decided to found his own maison.

The genius of Yves Saint Laurent was now free to rise.
His creations symbol of feminine beauty, they are a blend of fashion and art.
His immense love for art as well as finding him in his wonderful collection of 730 art and paintings by great artists such as Picasso, Andy Warhol, and his great love Modrian, it is found in its collections.
Very famous and always very current sheath dresses are dedicated to the great artist Modrian.

But beyond a multi-faceted creativity, Saint Laurent also had brilliant business acumen, as have understood, once again ahead of his colleagues, so that the ideas of its modern high fashion could, carefully corrected, transformed into an industrial product.
A striking example of his genius is his innovation has been the intuition to transfer some leaders of the female in the male wardrobe: the blazer, the safari jacket, the tuxedo, the trench coat, the leather jacket, the pant-suits.

"The most beautiful makeup for a woman is passion. But cosmetic are easier to buy". YSL

Her friend and inspiring Catherine Deneuve perfectly summed up his style: "Saint Laurent creates clothes for women who have a double life. The wedding day help them to move safely in a world full of strangers, but instead, for the evening , when they choose with whom to stay, make them feel seductive. "

Her dresses attract not only the art of the great masters, but also the style of the students, the ancient civilizations (evening dresses in style gown that left her breasts uncovered), the ethnic style and retro hippies, and especially the style of exotic countries.
And just in Marrakesh, in the rose garden of the Jardin Majorelle his ashes were scattered.

Saint Laurent was a genius, as Diane Vreeland called it, he was the man who revolutionized the female wardrobe, he was the one who turned his back on "fashion, that is the daughter of fashion", such as the New York Times wrote on the occasion of fashion shows in 1997:
"As the public looks around for something new on the catwalk, Saint Laurent shows us something that is going to last ..."

Just using the words of Saint Laurent:

                                 "Fashion fades, style is eternal."

And his style will remain forever in the history of fashion.
